Meanwood Valley Urban Farm:

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a registered charity and was established in 1980 to provide services to inner city communities. From the Farm’s humble beginnings operating from two old caravans, it has grown into a 24 acre site. It’s not only a working farm with a wide variety of animals, but also a major centre for community and environmental work.

Heart (Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre):

HEART is a vibrant and welcoming space for a wide range of people to meet, mix, work and play.  It is the flagship project of the Headingley Development Trust (HDT) and represents the culmination of a five year dream to keep a much loved old primary school building in community use.  HEART thrives on the ideas and activities of the people who use it.
